I enjoyed The Worst Witch as it’s very entertaining. The main character Mildred is a new witch just arrived at a gloomy school of witchcraft but the problem is she’s not very good at magic! So she gets into all sorts of trouble. The story flows fast and I like all the characters. Some are really nice and a few are mean but without them there wouldn’t be the story. It’s about friendship and mistakes and adventure, with lots of magic and spells thrown in. It’s funny and easy to read. Plus there are even more adventures to read about in the other worst witch books! I think anyone who likes magic and spells would enjoy this book and it is perfect for kids aged 6 to 8.
