Amelia Fang and the Unicorn Lords by Laura Ellen Anderson: This Amelia Fang book was fun and exciting to read. Amelia is a vampire and her friend Tangine is a prince, half vampire and half fairy! Together they go on an adventure to rescue the Queen who has been kidnapped by Alpha the Unicorn. I liked all the characters, they are all very brave, and some of them are very funny! There are light creatures and dark creatures in the book so Amelia and Tangine and their friends have an exciting time trying to find the Queen. At times the story is a little bit scary but there is a happy ending. Also there are lots of great pictures in the book and lots of these will make you smile or laugh. If you like magical lands and creatures and if you like books that are funny then you will like this. I recommend it to readers aged 7 to 9.

Amelia Fang and the Unicorn Lords by Laura Ellen Anderson: The Amelia Fang books are really fun. This is the second one (the first is Amelia Fang and the Barbaric Ball). Amelia is an energetic little vampire in a gloomy magical world full of all sorts of creatures and characters. In this book she goes on an adventure to find the King of Nocturnia’s wife, Queen Fairyweather, who is needed so that her son Tangine doesn’t have to live with mummy maids for the rest of his life! The book is very funny and has lots of lovely illustrations. I also like that a few chapters have exciting cliffhangers at the end as it meant I couldn’t wait to find out what happened next. The chapters aren’t too long which is nice. The most exciting bit is when they are trying to free everyone from the Candy Chambers! I would recommend this book to anyone aged 7 to 10 who likes drama and adventure. There is also a third book in the series too!
